From the capital city of Noumea to Ouvea Island, "the closest island
to heaven",
you will connect to a domestic flight.
It is a 30-minute flight from Magenta Airport by small "Air Caledonia" airline
aircraft (40 passengers).
Two regular flights are operated daily; one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
It takes about 20 minutes to get from Ouvea Airport to the hotel by the transportation
bus provided.
The untouched, pure white beach stretches southward for 23 kilometers, and once
you cross the Mouli Bridge on the south side of the island you can see the HOTEL
PARADIS D'OUVEA.
Ouvea Island is a long narrow crescent shape of
unspoiled nature that extends south to north.
The atoll is surrounded calm beautiful sea and is genuinely “the closest island
to heaven".
* Ordinarily, reservations cannot be made just before
and during the New Year holiday season as both hotels as well as the international
and domestic lines are packed. We kindly request that you try to make reservations
around June July. Furthermore, our hotel will assist you in making domestic
flight reservations between Noumea and Ouvea for guests who are not on tours.
